Why was Tree of Life Ministries Association formed? To take care of the needs of a hurt and addicted world through utilization of the resources of the Body of Christ! Based on the Word of God, to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to bind the hurts of the inhabitants of this world. To preach and administer healing to their physical and emotional being. To deliver them from the effects of the devil. All with the goal of making them whole and redeemed in the name of Jesus Christ thus establishing them as saved creations of God with the authority to act upon this earth in the fullness of the authority that was bestowed upon them by the Lord Jesus Christ! (Luke 4:18-19) We are first and foremost an outreach ministry. We take the Gospel to the highways and byways of the world. We reach to those which the average person looks past or condemns. We reach to: 1. Drug addicts 2. Ex-cons 3. Prostitutes 4. Single pregnant women 5. Problem teen-agers 6. College students 7. Other society outcasts We bind their wounds, get them healed, and/or established upon a firm foundation of Jesus Christ, help them to find a church where they can belong and reach out to others. We are the "Inn" where the "Good Samaritan" (Luke 10:30-37) took the traveler that he found by the roadside in order that he might see to the traveler's recovery. We are where people combine their resources to do the work that God has called all of us to do! "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself." (Like 10:27) Our mission is to reach to our neighbor, re-establish them and send them back on their proper way! |
